Gebroeders Geens view the future full of ambition

The children of Frans Geens - Bert, Joos and Marleen Geens - were recently interviewed by Voka business magazine. The second generation in this strongly growing family business speak about the future of their company and their brands, Rollmops and Knikmops.

Gebroeders Geens are aiming to produce some 1,000 machines per year, hoping to serve not only their familiar markets but explore new markets as well. Always keeping in mind the core values of their company – sustainability, trust and cooperation.

The Knikmops and Rollmops machines are made of steel where possible. This steel can not only be fully recycled, but it also ensures a sturdy chassis that can take a few shocks. And the inside needs to be at least equally durable. In 2020 Gebroeders Geens switched to Stage V engines for all of their machines; for the types from Knikmops KM 140 onwards this also meant fitting a DPF filter. In 2021, they launched their electrical articulated loader, the Knikmops KM 140 E. When using the most advanced system, this machine can continue working for up to 8 hours.
