Screed beam
The screed beam was developed by Gebroeders Geens; it is an attachment that is very easy to operate. A bed can be levelled using the screed beam, with or
without a bed.
Are curbs present? Then the screed beam can be set to a flat, convex or concave position. Is there only one curb present? Then the bed can still be levelled by placing a spring steel slat at the levelling height. If no curbs are present, the bed can still be levelled by using two spring steel slats.
The width of the screed beam can be adjusted by sliding out a part of the standard beam. If this is not sufficient, extenders are available that can be mounted on the screed beam, so the width can be adjusted as needed.
The screed beam can be mounted on the Rollmops 75 and the Knikmops as well as similar machines. Wider screed beams will require a stronger machine to pull the screed beam.
When pulling the screed beam, it is usually pulled over guide rails and/or any curbs by using the rollers.
